Beautiful Women in Narrative of Kiyokata`s Works

Kaburaki Kiyokata grew up in a literary and narrative environment: his father, Jono Saigiku was a journalist and a fiction writer, his mother was a play-goer, and his grandmother had been reading out picture book to him. Well versed in literature and play, he had depicted many attractive characters and scenes from kabuki play or novel throughout his career.
This exhibition shows sensible literary and narrative world by characters in Kiyiokata’s works.
