Colored Autumn, Colorful Autumn: Beauty in Kiyokata’s Works

Kiyokata painted beautiful women with sense of seasons. He enjoyed the autumn by hearing insects’ singing, seeing a rag of crowds in clear sky, and smelling the fragrance of chrysanthemums. His style is characterized by fine sense of appreciation of seasons.
