Kiyokata’s Fascinating Paingings Inspired by Theatrical Plays

Kiyokata had loved theatrical plays since his childhood. He could grasp the essentials of the beauty in kabuki plays or kabuki dances and expressed it on his works.
The exhibition features his fascinating works of theatrical plays including some exhibits showing his close relationship with actors.
